Job Description:

As a Web Designer at bizWorkz, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our client websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance. You’ll work closely with our marketing and development teams to create seamless web experiences that drive engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Design: Create visually appealing and responsive web designs that align with the company’s branding and user experience goals.
• Front-End Development: Develop front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring web designs to life.
• CMS Management: Manage and maintain various Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, and others.
• Custom Development: Write and maintain code in PHP and Java to support custom web features and functionalities.
• User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design: Optimize user experience and interface design for intuitive navigation and engagement.
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure websites and web applications are compatible with various browsers and devices.
• Performance Optimization: Implement best practices for website performance, including page speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketers, developers, and content creators, to deliver cohesive web solutions.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform testing and quality assurance to identify and fix issues, bugs, or inconsistencies on websites.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and Java programming languages.
• Experience with various Content Management Systems, including WordPress, Drupal, Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.
• Familiarity with web design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent.
• Understanding of UX and UI design principles.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
